Washington Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This policy describes Calmacular's practices concerning consumer health data for Washington consumers under the Washington My Health My Data Act.
Categories of Consumer Health Data Collected and Purposes
Depending on the features you choose to use, Calmacular may collect the following categories of consumer health data for the purposes listed:
- Body and fitness profile information, such as height, body weight, weight history, body measurements, age-related information, sex or physiological information used in fitness calculations, fitness goals, and weight-management goals, to provide requested fitness, nutrition, weight-trend, and planning features.
- Nutrition information, such as foods logged, meals, serving amounts, calorie intake, macronutrient intake, nutrition targets, and weekly nutrition-planning information, to provide food logging, nutrition history, calorie and macro planning, and related calculations.
- Workout and exercise information, such as exercise selections, workout programs, workout sessions, sets, repetitions, resistance, rest, effort information, cardio activity, training techniques, mesocycles, and performance history, to provide workout tracking, workout history, training planning, and progression features.
- Activity and connected-platform information, such as steps, workouts, heart rate, active energy, and other compatible activity or fitness information when you authorize a supported health or activity source, to provide activity tracking, expenditure estimates, and related user-facing features.
- Derived or inferred fitness information, such as calorie targets, maintenance estimates, weight trends, activity estimates, training targets, and performance trends calculated from information you provide or authorize, to provide the requested planning, tracking, and progress features.
- Health-related information included in support communications if you choose to include it when asking for help, to investigate and respond to your request.
Categories of Sources
- You, including information you enter, edit, save, log, or submit.
- Supported device, operating-system, health, activity, or wearable sources that you authorize.
- Calmacular calculations derived from information you provide or authorize.
- Third-party food or barcode information selected by you when it becomes associated with your personal food or nutrition records.
Categories of Consumer Health Data Shared
Calmacular may share the categories of consumer health data described above only as necessary to provide a feature you request, operate supported cloud functionality, protect the service, respond to a lawful request, or as otherwise permitted with any consent required by applicable law.
Categories of Third Parties and Specific Affiliates
- Cloud hosting, database, authentication, and infrastructure providers, including Google/Firebase where used for Calmacular account, synchronization, storage, or related infrastructure.
- Device, operating-system, health, or activity platforms when interaction with those platforms is necessary for a feature you request or direct.
- Service providers supporting security, diagnostics, or support where the information is necessary for those services.
- Governmental, regulatory, or legal recipients where disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law.
Calmacular currently has no affiliated companies with whom it shares consumer health data.
Sale of Consumer Health Data
Calmacular does not sell consumer health data.
How to Exercise Your Washington Rights
You may request confirmation of whether Calmacular is collecting, sharing, or selling your consumer health data; request access to that data and information about recipients; withdraw consent to future collection or sharing where consent is the applicable basis; or request deletion of your consumer health data.
Submit a request by emailing calmacular@gmail.com. You may also use applicable account or deletion controls made available in Calmacular. You do not need to create a new account solely to make a request. Calmacular may take reasonable steps to authenticate the request.
Calmacular will respond to authenticated requests within the period required by Washington law. If Calmacular refuses to act on a request, you may appeal by emailing calmacular@gmail.com with the subject Washington Consumer Health Data Appeal.
