Calmacular Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Calmacular handles information when you use the Calmacular mobile application, website, and related services.

Calmacular is a fitness, nutrition, workout, activity-tracking, and progress-management application. Because many of the features you choose to use involve fitness, nutrition, body-weight, workout, or activity information, some of the information processed by Calmacular may be health-related or sensitive in nature.

These starter foods are copied into the user's own personal food library. After they are copied, changes made by one user do not modify another user's personal food library.

The source library used to provide starter foods is separate from individual users' private food libraries.

Calmacular may use third-party food or barcode databases to help identify food products and retrieve nutrition information.

When you use a barcode or food-lookup feature, information necessary to perform the lookup may be sent to the applicable food-data provider.

Food information returned by third-party databases may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. You are responsible for reviewing food information when accuracy is important.

Foods obtained through third-party barcode or nutrition databases are not automatically shared with other Calmacular users as part of their private food libraries.

10. Local Storage and Cloud Synchronization

Calmacular may store application information locally on your device, in cloud services associated with your account, or both.

When cloud synchronization is available and enabled, supported data may be uploaded to and retrieved from cloud infrastructure so that it can be backed up, restored, or synchronized between compatible devices.

A user's personal foods, nutrition records, body-weight information, workouts, training information, settings, and other private application records are not intended to become another user's personal records through ordinary Calmacular use.

Shared application resources, such as approved starter content or application-provided exercise information, are different from individual users' private account data.

If you contact Calmacular Support or use an in-app reporting feature, we may process the information you voluntarily provide so that we can investigate and respond to your request.

No electronic storage, cloud service, software application, or data-transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

21. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your Calmacular account and associated account information.

Account deletion is different from uninstalling the application, signing out, deleting an individual record, or revoking a health-platform permission.

Uninstalling Calmacular from a device does not necessarily delete your Calmacular account or information that has already been stored in cloud services.

If you want your Calmacular account and associated cloud data deleted, use the account-deletion process rather than relying on application removal alone.

Deleting information from Calmacular does not necessarily delete information independently maintained by another provider.

Calmacular provides fitness, nutrition, workout, activity-tracking, calculation, planning, and informational tools.

It does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment and is not a substitute for professional medical advice.

Calorie requirements, energy expenditure, metabolism, body-weight changes, activity estimates, workout performance, and other fitness-related calculations are estimates and may differ from actual results.

27. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as Calmacular changes, new features are introduced, technical providers change, integrations are added or removed, or legal requirements evolve.

When this Privacy Policy is materially updated, the effective date shown at the top of this page will be revised.

Your continued use of Calmacular after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective is subject to the updated policy and applicable law.
